Hello and welcome to my page; my name is Lisa. I am an experienced Counsellor providing counselling for as long or as little as you would like. I work in a pleasant, comfortable room with parking and easy access. I offer counselling to young people and adults.

Counselling can help if you are struggling with stress or painful emotions or maybe you are not sure how you feel but you know something does not feel right.

We can all suppress our emotions and sweep them under the carpet in the hope they will just go away on their own; annoyingly without giving them our full attention they have a habit of becoming larger and less manageable. This is when counselling can be helpful.

We are all on our own individual journeys. We are the only ones who know what path we have already walked and how it feels to be us; by exploring our difficulties that we have or have had in the past; we can make sense of our experiences, developing strategies and increasing self-awareness, for some even the process of telling the story of our lives can feel like a weight has been lifted off us, we are then free to live life more fully in our next chapter.

I offer a safe, caring, compassionate space for you to share your experiences. As an Integrative counsellor I combine different therapeutic approaches to fit you as a person. I have many tools available depending on your own specific needs and preferences; some of these include creative mindful techniques, cognitive behaviour therapy and self esteem interventions. It really does depend on how you would like to work together and what feels right for you.
